Skate School
Learn to skate classes are for
beginners and more advanced skaters of all ages above 4 years old. Students
are taught in groups ranging from 5 to 15 skaters. Our professional coaches
will tech you the basic skills of skating in a class centred on having fun
and growing confidence.
Classes are divided to 10 levels. Class duration is 1/2 hour plus you can stay on the ice before or
after the class for practice.
Each class runs for 5 weeks and
finishes up with a test, where you can move up to upper level for the next
term.

Skate School Competition

Our skate school competitions are scheduled for Saturday afternoons commencing at 5:00 pm and concluding at about 7:30pm.
Competitions are designed to increase self confidence, promote sportsmanship and most importantly have fun. Divisions start from tiny tots and go through to free skating.
Skaters will only be performing the elements they have been learning in their skate school class. No amount of skating experience is required.
Any skaters that are interested in competing should talk to their skate shool coach to arrange lessons (usually 3 15 min lessons)
to learn the routine. Each lesson will cost approximatly $15. There is a $15 entry fee to participate in the competition. Each competitor recieves
a certificate and the top three will recieve a medal.
If you would like more information please ask your skate school coach or Roslyn Talbot in the office.
