COVID-19 UPDATE 03/01/2021

Starting Saturday June 13th we will be back to running sessions 7 days a week! ⛄️
- It is not compulsory to wear a mask while at our venue but we highly recommend patrons to wear one while off the ice. 
- If you are a general group of less than 20, you do not need to book in to skate in our public sessions. General admission can be paid for at the front desk from the start of the session time.

  • SPECTATORS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN FRIDAY NIGHT DISCO SESSIONS.
  • Children aged under 15 must have adult supervision at all times.
  • Customers will be served on a first come first served basis. 
  • Patrons will be required to provide contact details in case it's needed for contact tracing.
  • There will be a 15 minute grace period at the end of each session for patrons to exit the building.
  • Coffee Club runs through the Monday Public session​.
  • Weekday Public Sessions may also have school groups.
  • MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHTS TO CHANGE THE SESSION TIMES AND PRICES AS REQUIRED

Please Note:
  • These prices are per session
  • Please advise staff if you have your own skates
  • *Our smallest size childrens skate is a US 9/ EU 27. We advise that children with a size 7 foot or smaller would be too small to skate. 

CONDITIONS OF RINK ENTRY as of 2/11/2020

  • ​Patrons with cold or flu like symptoms will be refused entry.
  • Patrons must provide their name, contact number and email address before entering the ice rink. (These records will only be used for tracing COVID-19 infections and will be stored confidentially and securely.)
  • Patrons are to follow all social distance markings and signage on premises.
  • Patrons are to allow 1.5-metre distancing between staff and other patron while both on and off the ice.
  • Once the session has finished, a 15-minute grace period will be provided for patrons to leave the ice and premises promptly.
  • Pass outs will not be permitted during sessions. Once a patron has left the venue, re-entry will be denied.
  • Contactless payment methods are preferred where possible.
By entering the ice rink, you are agreeing to follow the above conditions. If these conditions are not followed, ice rink management reserves the right to ask patrons to leave the premises.


COVID SAFETY PLAN as of 2/11/2020

Wellbeing of Staff and Patrons
  • Patrons and staff who are displaying flu like symptoms or are unwell will be asked to leave the premises.
  • Conditions of entry will be displayed at the entry of the ice rink as well as posted on our website and social medias.
Physical Distancing
All Sessions
  • All patrons are asked to leave within 15 minutes of our session finishing, so ensure we can maintain safe capacity numbers.
  • 1.5-metre social distancing rules will be enforced around the ice rink and on the ice surface.
  • Where reasonably practical, staff will maintain 1.5 metre physical distancing.
  • Floor markings and barriers will be used to help patrons and staff social distance correctly. Signage will also be displayed with instructions on how to social distance correctly.
  • One-way traffic flow will be used to help aid in social distancing. Signage will be displayed to show designated entry and exit doors.
  • Sharing of equipment will be prohibited in all sessions.
  • We will be encouraging contactless payment methods and will no longer be able to swap notes or currency for patrons.
Figure and Hockey Sessions
  • Sharing of equipment will be prohibited in all sessions. For example: figure skaters must purchase their own safety vests to wear when performing routines in figure sessions, hockey players must bring their own gear and are discouraged from sharing gear with other skaters.
  • Change room capacities for hockey sessions will be limited to 12 people per room and there will be no shower facilities.
  • Figure and hockey skaters are to come dressed in gear to limit time within the ice rink.
  • Coaches and students are to maintain correct social distancing when in both figure and public sessions. No contact is permitted.
  • Warm ups are to be done prior to rink entry to limit time within the ice rink.
  • Patrons in both figure and hockey sessions are to leave promptly once training and coaching has ended.
  • Each session will have a 15 minute grace period where patrons can exit the building using the one-way traffic flow plan.
Hygiene and Cleaning
  • Hand sanitiser will be provided at multiple locations throughout the rink, including the front desk, canteen and boot room. We ask that patrons use these regularly in combination with regular hand washing. Hand sanitiser will be placed at a safe height, so that it is out of reach of young children
  • Bathrooms will be well stocked with hand soap and posters will be displayed showing the correct procedure for hand washing.
  • High touch and contact areas will be cleaned frequently by staff. These areas include rink barriers, door handles and service counters.
  • Rental skates and penguin skate aids will also be disinfected regularly.
  • Staff will wear gloves when serving patrons and will wash hands regularly.
Record Keeping
  • All patrons who enter must provide their name, mobile number and email address. These records will only be used for tracing COVID-19 infections and will be stored confidentially and securely.
  • For signing in during figure and hockey session, we advise patrons to bring their own pens.
