FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
can i book for weekdays?
We only take weekday bookings for dates during school holidays.
some of my guests have special dietary needs, do you cater for them?
No. For guests with special dietary requirements, we recommend bringing in food for them yourself. Outside food is allowed to be brought in for all booked parties.
what happens if i don't have at least 10 guests?
The minimum guests is 10. If you have less then you will still be required to pay for 10 guests.
can i hire a party host?
No. There will be a staff member that will bring out the lunch and also to do games on the ice as a whole rink activity, but they will not be able to perform hosting duties for the party.
can i pay extra to have a party for adults?
Our party package is for children only. If you want to have an event for adults then a group booking would better suit your needs.
are party platters available to order on the day?
Platters can be ordered on the day but there is no guarantee that we will have enough product for them. To ensure you have a platter for your party, we suggest ordering it prior to the day of the party or to bring one in yourself.
if i cancel my party, can i get the $100 bond back?
Your bond will be refunded in full if you cancel the party at least one week prior to the party date. Cancellations made less than one week prior will not receive a refund for the bond however the bond can be transferred with the booking to another date within the next month.
can i order a penguin skate aid for each child in the party?
We recommend only starting with a one or two as some children will learn to skate quickly and end up leaving the penguin for most of the session. You can always hire more throughout the session.
how early do i have access to the party room?
The party room will be open for use 10 minutes prior to the party starting time.
do i have to stay or can i leave and come back at the end of the session?
The person who booked the party must be present for the duration of the party.
